]]> After a very busy holiday, BZ FurFur is back in business for 2023. We just reopened our shop and are ready to start taking orders, we’ve spruced up our booth at Crafted in Indian Trail, and we’ve signed up for a number of markets over the next several months. Of course, while we were taking a break, we didn’t rest on our laurels. This year is going to include all new designs taking inspiration from Philippine culture and, of course, Valentine’s day.

If you are interested in a custom order now is the time to get your order in. Last year offered many opportunities to create unique and individualized decor that we can’t wait to share. Keep an eye on our socials and stay up to date on all our creative designs.

]]> Thank you to all our customers who made 2022 a hugely successful year at BZ FurFur. This year saw us featured in several markets and art shows across the Charlotte area including Charlotte Pride. We also proudly opened up a physical location at Crafted Marketplace in Indian Trail, NC. On a personal note, Brian and I got married in June and began our life together.

We are looking forward to 2023 with lots of great new ideas for BZ FurFur. We’ll be expanding to new markets beyond just Mecklenburg County. We’ve signed up to participate in the 10th annual SHRED, an annual skate deck art show to benefit families of kids born with extraordinary medical conditions. Of course, we have lots of new designs on the horizon and we’ll be partnering with a few other local businesses to create some unique, personalized products.

It is time for us to take a break and enjoy some time with family. We will be shutting down the shop through the end of 2022 and reopening in 2023 re-invigorated and ready to create new, exciting items in the shop and in the markets. We can’t wait to see you all again in the new year and have an even better 2023.

]]> This Thursday is the first day of fall which means Halloween is just around the corner. Halloween is a great excuse to get a good scare, indulge in candy, and have a little spooky fun before we are into the holidays. We decided for this year we would create a new line of hand-burned home decor that looks a little different than what you usually come across.

We love everything about Halloween and Día de los Muertos is no exception. Día de los Muertos, or The Day of the Dead, is when Mexican families remember those family members that are deceased. Popularized in the US with the Pixar movie Coco the Day of the Dead is when families create altars, share sweets, and lay flowers to remember their lost family members as they celebrate life. We have a selection of designs that encompass the festivity of this special day.

Our other product from our Halloween collection is one that we are particularly excited about. Next year marks the 40th anniversary of Michael Jackson’s Thriller video. As an homage to that video, we have created a limited edition plaque with the words of the great Vincent Price from that video. As with all our products, these are all made by hand and sealed with a heat-resistant, water-resistant polyurethane to ensure they hold up to the elements and stay beautiful for years.
