This Thursday is the first day of fall which means Halloween is just around the corner. Halloween is a great excuse to get a good scare, indulge in candy, and have a little spooky fun before we are into the holidays. We decided for this year we would create a new line of hand-burned home decor that looks a little different than what you usually come across.
We love everything about Halloween and Día de los Muertos is no exception. Día de los Muertos, or The Day of the Dead, is when Mexican families remember those family members that are deceased. Popularized in the US with the Pixar movie Coco the Day of the Dead is when families create altars, share sweets, and lay flowers to remember their lost family members as they celebrate life. We have a selection of designs that encompass the festivity of this special day.
Our other product from our Halloween collection is one that we are particularly excited about. Next year marks the 40th anniversary of Michael Jackson’s Thriller video. As an homage to that video, we have created a limited edition plaque with the words of the great Vincent Price from that video. As with all our products, these are all made by hand and sealed with a heat-resistant, water-resistant polyurethane to ensure they hold up to the elements and stay beautiful for years.
