Earlier this year we had the opportunity to take on a commission from one of the proud members of our armed forces here in the US to create some US Military Seals. At a pop-up at a VFW, a gentleman approached us about creating some seals for an assisted living facility in our town.
The armed forces have always held a special place in my heart as many of my family, my father included, served our country. I hold a tremendous amount of respect for those people who protect our country and those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. I very much appreciated the opportunity to do something to give back to these individuals.
The seals will be hung up in a common area for all of the men and women at the facility to pay homage to their efforts. I hope they will serve as a reminder to them and to others visiting about how our great country wouldn’t be what it is today without their strength and perseverance.
